Gold Award for Mental Health and Wellbeing

We are very pleased to inform parents and carers that Hetton Lyons Primary School has been successfully awarded the Gold Charter Mark in Mental Health and Wellbeing following a moderation visit this afternoon.

This award recognises the strength of our whole-trust approach to supporting pupils’ mental health and wellbeing. During the visit, our children spoke confidently about the support available to them, Nurture provision, and Lunch Club clearly demonstrated the care, commitment, and consistency embedded across the school.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all pupils and staff who contributed to the visit.

This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of every child and we are extremely proud of the whole school community.
