Uniform

Balmoral Learning Trust believes that a consistent school uniform policy is vital to promote the ethos of the school and provide a sense of belonging and identity for all pupils, regardless of their protected characteristics or socio-economic circumstances. All Balmoral Learning Trust Schools have their own Uniform Policy.

Hetton Lyons Primary School Uniform Policy.

We believe that pupils learn most effectively and achieve their best outcomes when they are comfortable, able to be themselves, and dressed in such a way that sets an appropriate tone for education. We have reduced the number of branded items available to minimise cost and any expectations that all uniform is to be branded. We must stress that while branded uniform is available, it is not all compulsory and non-branded uniform can be worn as long as it is in line with our uniform policy (e.g. from a supermarket, high street store or pre loved).
