Year 6

Welcome to Year 6 with Mrs Richardson, Mrs Dodds and Mrs Gibson

Welcome to our Year 6 page! We’re delighted to have you here and to share this exciting final year of primary school with you.

Year 6 is a special time of growth, challenge and achievement. Pupils are encouraged to become confident, independent learners while building on the strong foundations of previous years. Learning is engaging and purposeful, preparing children for the transition to secondary school.

Alongside classroom learning, pupils enjoy leadership roles (such as being school ambassadors, librarians and EYFS support workers), special events and memorable experiences that help develop confidence, responsibility and teamwork. This page will highlight our Year 6 journey. We hope it gives you a sense of the enthusiasm, pride and hard work that make Year 6 so special.
