Easter Activities

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

We have had lots of fun taking part in lots of Easter activities this week. We each decorated an egg. There were some fantastic designs and the school art ambassadors found it really tricky to choose a winner from each class. Then we rolled an egg down the school hill. The winner from the year group took part in a competition against the winners from other year groups too. Finally, there was egg jarping! We had lots of fun jarping eggs to try and smash our partners. The winner from Reception got to take part in the grand final in front of the whole school! On Friday, the teachers jarped too! 

We were super excited to have some new visitors in our class too. After patiently waiting for the eggs to hatch, on Thursday and Friday the eggs hatched one by one until there were 12 chicks in our classroom! We have had a lovely time observing and taking care of them until they go to their new homes in the holidays.
