ICE CATS

This week all of the children in the Trust will be learning about what to do if they are faced with the worst case senario either in school or the community.

The programme we are using is ICE CATS-In Case of Emergency, Children, Adults, Teacher, Safety. This programme is based on the correct training, practised by the police and other agencies. It is designed to protect children and help them evaluate an area quickly, safely and quietly. They will learn a set of hand signals to use when a voice would put them in more danger. 

Each school, at the end of the week, will review their lockdown policy and update their website with information for parents.
