Goodbye Trays, Welcome Plates and Bowls!

In the summer term the school council worked with the school meals provider to improve our school meals experience. As a result of this there is now a choice of drinks and the salad bar is filled up between sittings.

One of the big complaints from the children in school was about the trays that children currently use. The children said they did not like having their main meal and desert on the same tray and that sometimes food like gravy and custard could get mixed up. The good news is that as a result of the work by the school council from September 2013 school meals will be served on a separate plate and bowl.
